To awaken and soothe my savage spirit

The spirits of animalia that my spirit will nurture.
I pray for the wisdom and strength to survive and thrive,
From the family of all bears and ursidae.
I pray for the speed and grace to rise above it all,
From the family of all eagles, specifically accipitridae.
I pray for the agility of my body and spirit to come alive,
From the family of all cats and felidae.
I pray to squeak through life unseen by those that aren't hip to my jive,
From of all mice, rats and family muridae.
I pray to the spirits of those that are loyal and true,
From the family of all dogs, wolves and canidae.
I pray to the spirits of those that look and listen for all dangers a brew,
From the family of all hares, rabbits and leporidae.
I pray to the spirits of those envenomed and scaled, slithering through,
From the family of all snakes and varanoidea.
